It's no secret that Black culture drives global trends in fashion, art, beauty, music, and beyond. The styles, the sounds, the aesthetics that define what's cool, what's current, and what's next. Each seem to overwhelmingly trace back to Black creators, Black communities, and Black ingenuity.

What doesn't always follow is the economic benefit flowing back to those same creators and entrepreneurs. The culture travels. The credit and the commerce don't always follow.

That gap is personal. And it's one of the reasons First & King exists.
