About brand
Honor the Gift is a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand founded in 2016 by NBA All-Star and former MVP Russell Westbrook, a kid from the inner city of South Central Los Angeles. The brand is rooted in creativity, self-belief, and the conviction that no matter where you come from, you can reach wherever you want to go. The name is drawn directly from Westbrook's faith: his belief that God has given every person a gift, and that we owe it to ourselves — and each other — to honor it. Honor the Gift operates with a focus on quality, purpose, and storytelling, applying those values from the construction of every garment to the physical spaces the brand occupies. Collections are inspired by Westbrook's own upbringing in the inner city — vintage aesthetics, spiritually charged graphics, bold fabrics, and minimalist detailing that speak to where he came from and what he believes in. HTG is not a celebrity vanity project. It's a brand designed for the community, by someone who never forgot where they came from.
